MCLEAN, Va. - Hampton Hotels today announced its partnership with Paramount Pictures' upcoming animated 3D film from Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson, based on the Tintin classic comic, "The Adventures of Tintin," opening nationwide on December 21, 2011. Guests who book online and complete their stay at any U.S., Canada and Mexico Hampton hotel from October 17 through December 31, 2011 will automatically receive tickets to see the movie and an entry into a sweepstakes for a chance to win an exciting family trip for four to a European destination.

Based on the series of books The Adventures of Tintin by Hergé, the film follows Tintin, the young reporter whose relentless pursuit of a good story thrusts him into a world of high adventure. The film, by director/producer Steven Spielberg and producers Peter Jackson and Kathleen Kennedy, stars Jamie Bell, Andy Serkis, Daniel Craig, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Toby Jones and Mackenzie Crook.

This fall, the adventure starts at Hampton hotels. With Tintin customized door hanger signs and room key card inserts, guests will enjoy a world of adventure beginning in their room. Additionally, Hampton plans to run the film's trailer on a continuous loop on Hampton's LodgeNet television program in guest rooms. Hampton and Paramount are also collaborating on a branded television spot, highlighting the partnership promotion.

Hampton will also host a Facebook giveaway where fans of Hampton's page can enter to win a three-day, two-night trip for two people to Los Angeles that will include a VIP tour of Paramount Studios.
